Po­lice ask for pub­lic’s help find­ing miss­ing teenager

Gary Po­lice De­part­ment is ask­ing for the com­mu­nity’s help in find­ing a 17year-old boy miss­ing since last month.

“Mon­tique Ramirez left home Dec. 14 and has not been seen or heard from since,” Lt. Dawn Wester­field, Gary po­lice spokes­woman, said in a re­lease.

“In­ves­ti­ga­tors have ex­hausted all leads and are reach­ing out to the com­mu­nity for help,” Wester­field said.

Any­one with in­for­ma­tion about Ramirez’s where­abouts is asked to call Sgt. Dar­lene Bre­it­en­stein at 219-881-1229 or the crime tip line at 866-274-6347.

Ramirez is 6 feet tall, weighs 154 pounds and has tat­toos on his arm, neck and hand, po­lice said. He was last seen wear­ing an all black Nike jog­ging suit with black and white Jor­dan shoes, ac­cord­ing to po­lice.
