Accidental battery monitor
The last few issues of PBO have had articles on batteries and battery monitoring.
On Queen Bee, the most useful battery monitor was an old Advansea multi-display instrument which was superseded by the Raymarine (on the left). But this left a hole in the mount by the chart table. Then it occurred to me to use the old instrument set permanently to the battery setting. It’s easy to read, always on and power consumption is minimal. It has proved to be very useful.
