Twin and multicore cables

Twin and multicore cables just need more patience. In this multicore telephone-type cable each individual core was soldered and covered with a single layer of heatshrink then the entire joint was epoxied and covered with two layers (the first layer is shown here). This is definitely case where you don’t want to forget to slide the heatshrink up the cable before you start soldering.
