SKYLARK IX MUSEUM
The Dunkirk Little Ship, Skylark IX, which saved 600 Allied troops during the Second World War, is to become a floating museum on the River Clyde. The passenger cruiser sank in Loch Lomond in 2010 before it was raised by the Royal Navy and taken to the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine. A £404,400 National Lottery grant will be used to restore the boat.
