NMEA0183/2000 gateway

Getting electronics of differing ages to communicate can be a frustrating process. Digital Yacht’s new iKonvert device is a relatively low-cost route to interfacing NMEA0183 gear with later NMEA2000 equipment. It provides bi-directional

NMEA 0183/2000 translation and can be user programmed to act as a gateway.

Alternatively, it can be used as a dedicated sensor converter for depth, wind, speed and so on, enabling this data to be shared from an 0183 sensor to a

NMEA2000 network. The iKonvert can also be used with an optional SEATALK to NMEA converter.
