MORE BERTHS FOR FALMOUTH
An additional 30 berths are to be created at North Quay in Falmouth. The harbour commissioners plan to extend the north-west breakwater which will create room for additional visitor berthing pontoons at Falmouth Haven Marina. It will also free up space for smaller craft at the Custom House Quay Basin, where there is currently a waiting list for berths.
Extra berths will also be installed alongside the access bridge and the entire pontoon system will be shifted approximately 10m to the east to create a berth for a floating barge restaurant. The £350,000 scheme will have no impact on public anchoring.
