WHITE DIESEL AVAILABILITY

-

More marinas in Ireland have confirmed they’ll be selling white diesel following the ban on the use of marked diesel to propel recreational boats. The law came into effect on 1 January 2020 and applies to both green and red diesel.

Marinas at Kilmore Quay and Kilrush will now provide white diesel at their pumps, joining marinas at Howth, Dun Laoghaire, and Kinsale. White diesel in cans will be available at Lawrence Cove Marina, Dingle and Carlingford. Oil suppliers at Castletownbere, Bantry and Dingle will also supply white diesel via tanker. Irish Sailing is advising sailors to carry plenty of cans in Ireland and to retain all receipts.
