Calypso’s Portable Anemometer is a solid state wind instrument that’s waterproofed to IPX8 standards and can be mounted easily on RIBs and daysailers, or at the masthead of larger vessels.

The ultrasonic transducers solve one of the most common problems associated with conventional wind sensors – the reliability of their moving parts.
