YOUNGEST COMMODORE
Gravesend Sailing Club’s Harriet Davies-Mullan has made history as its youngest commodore to date.
Harriet, 31, who is also honorary vice-president of the Gravesend Sea Cadets, is the third generation of her family to become commodore at the club, which is situated at the gateway to the tidal Thames; her grandfather, James (Jim) Twyman was commodore twice. Her parents Steve and Penny Davies have also held the post.
