One of the less innovative things on the Knaus stand, but no less welcome to British buyers, was the revised Weinsberg range, with habitation doors on the UK nearside. Five models will be available, with two on show in Birmingham: the compact Caraone 390 UK (£14,999, MTPLM 1100kg) and the massive Caraone 740 UK (£24,999, 1900kg). Both feature Uk-friendly features such as a standard oven, and the four-berth 390 is less than 6m long, with a 210kg payload. The 740, however, with its 9.4m shipping length, is for seasonal-pitch use only, but features a clever seven-berth layout with fixed double and fixed bunks, plus a large dinette and lounge. AC
