Why we stayed at… Doe Park Caravan Site
Doe Park Caravan Site is just to the west of the village of Cotherstone. It has been run
by the Lamb family for three generations and the site was originally developed during the 1980s, in the grounds of
the historic 17th-century farmhouse. Spacious level pitches in paddocks offer
great views of the rolling farmland. The reception building has lots of information
about local attractions, and there are two heated washblocks with disabled facilities,
a laundry room and a dish-washing area. Recycling points and a Calor Gas
exchange are also available on-site. Address Cotherstone, Barnard Castle, County Durham DL12 9QU Tel 01833 650 302
