THANKS TO TEDDY and Valerie Anson for their kind letter (see page 12) saying how much they enjoyed the Summer Special issue of Practical Caravan – “an amazing resource” was how they described it. We’re happy it was so well received by readers new to the magazine, but do wonder what regular readers thought about the different approach to the lead travel story. Rather than our usual narrative treatment, we opted for a pick’n’mix guide to one of the UK’S top touring destinations. Should something like this be used more regularly, more sparingly, or not at all? It’d be good to get some feedback from PC readers. Back to the here and now, we continue getting ready for the new buying season with a look at more new or revised tourers for 2019, and reveal where to bag a bargain 2018 van, from page 106. Enjoy the issue.
