The 2019 season may be the year the UK finally catches up with much of the rest of Europe, as the Eriba name is to be used for all caravans sold in the UK made by Hymer in Germany. Eriba was the original name for all vans produced by the company, not just the pop-up Eriba Touring models. Although the Nova has changed names several times since the company was founded in 1957, for the past few years, the range has been branded as Eriba everywhere in Europe except the UK and Scandinavia. Now the UK too will be taking on Eriba. In terms of models, there will be some slimming down. Hymer says it is focusing on bringing three Nova models to the UK for 2019 – the end-kitchen 470, and the 485 and 545, both with fixed corner beds and an end corner washroom. The GL range has been given a lighter, more contemporary interior, with smart new exterior decals.
