A little Nilfisk know-how has allowed reasonable performance from this rather compromised set-up. In our carpet test, this retrieved 100g of the 200g mashed into the pile – which, in reality, isn’t far behind the Gtech and Black & Decker models. The 25.2V lithium-ion battery allows 20 minutes of flat-out usage. Ultimately, though, £200 is too much for a model with mediocre performance, hardly any accessories and a very basic floor head tool.
