Previous to its tow test this issue (see p88), our trusty Insignia had been a vital cog in our new launches coverage machine, ferrying various members of staff, and the odd photographer, to factory car parks, country house hotels and, in one case, a stately home and estate. One on-board system that got a good workout, of course, was the air conditioning, as we all took turns to melt in the summer heatwave.
