Practical Caravan

7 Northam Farm Holiday Park

-

This park has been run by the same family for more than 70 years, and they know what they’re doing – the site has all the facilities you could need, plus plenty of space so that it doesn’t feel overcrowded. There’s a well-stocked fishing lake bordered by touring pitches and a pleasant dog-walk, plus the pet-friendly ‘8 acres’ touring field and a pet-free touring field, all bordered by mature trees and shrubs. There are large areas of grass set aside for dog-exercise fields and playing areas where kids can kick a ball around, which helps the site feel even more spacious. The four facilities blocks include toilets, showers, private bathrooms and babychanging facilities. Elsewhere you’ll find a mini-supermarket and off-licence, restaurant and take-away, adventure playgrounds, laundry facilities, disabledaccess facilities and a caravan servicing workshop and sales centre. The Seagull Inn bar and grill and Scotty’s bar provide entertainment throughout the touring season, including children’s shows, a country and western festival and lots of themed events. The park is not quite on the seafront, but is just a few minutes’ walk from the beautiful golden sand of Brean beach, which stretches along the coast for 6.5 miles.
