Severn toll to be scrapped

Practical Caravan - - Caravan Cake Chat -

If you use the Severn bridges to tour England and Wales, you’ll be pleased to hear that the toll, reduced in January this year, will be axed on 17 December. The move was announced by Welsh Secretary Alun Cairns at the Conservative Party Conference, in a decision that’s designed to boost South Wales’s economy by encouraging tourism and improving business growth with a free flow between England and Wales. The Severn Crossings toll has been in place since the original bridge opened in 1966.
