6 Deeside Caravan Park, Aberdeenshire

Practical Caravan - - Travel County Counsel -

This site is part of the Wood Leisure Group, so you can expect to find top-notch facilities and attention to detail here in the tranquil southern valley of the River Dee. After being devastated by Storm Frank a couple of years ago, the park is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year with new facilities – and flood defences. The location makes it ideal for visiting Royal Deeside’s many attractions, as well as the spectacular Cairngorms National Park. Aberdeen is also less than 30 minutes’ drive away, great for anyone wanting to take a day trip to see the city. There is a variety of accommodation at the park, but the touring pitches are well maintained and have been pleasantly landscaped, so you have plenty of privacy, with hedges lining many of the pitches. There are spacious hardstandings with 10A or 16A hook-up, many of which also have fresh water, waste water drainage and a TV aerial connection. Facilities include a laundry room, Wi-fi (for a fee), heated family and disabled toilet and shower rooms (as well as men’s and women’s toilets and showers), a pleasant dog walk and a children’s play area. There is also a new lounge area and games room for families to enjoy.
