Simple DIY projects for your caravan

In smaller outfits, finding suitable places to store your bedding during the day can be a bit of a problem – so the idea of using two pillows as daytime cushions was born. You might also find them more comfortable than the small, square scatter cushions provided with your caravan. However, for reasons of hygiene, your pillows, complete with their pillowcases, will need to be placed inside bespoke zipped cushion covers, made to match the décor. I have tried these as large, square covers, into which two pillows can be squashed, and as something more like the standard oblong pillowcase; but they could be any size you wish. For comfort as cushions, I prefer the oblong shape; then it is simple to remove the cover at night to retrieve the pillows.
