Looking forward to great touring

In tough times, it’s important to have things to look forward to. It could be something as simple as speaking to grandchildren on Skype, sitting in the garden soaking up spring sunshine, or settling down to watch a classic film. For now, some of the things we routinely enjoy – meeting old friends, visiting favourite campsites, discovering new places – are on hold. It’s not easy to put these things aside, or to find positives when there is much to worry about. But the freedom to enjoy the pastime we love will return. And when it does, we will savour every day, because we’ll better appreciate just what we’ve been missing. motty@practicalcaravan.com
