ANDY’S PICKS OF THE MONTH
1 Out of this world
This fine Venus 490 – a snip at £10,495
– is super-lightweight (MTPLM below 1200kg), with a fixed bed and end washroom. The extras pack provides alloy wheels, hitch stabiliser and Cd/radio. Ideal for a couple buying their first tourer, and in excellent condition inside and out, this is a great buy!

2 First-time bargain
Priced at just £4495, this tourer for two won’t stay on the forecourt for long. This dealer special, based on Swift’s standard range with Challenger spec, offers an end washroom and well-equipped kitchen. In really excellent condition for its 19 years, the interior looks less modern, but at this price, who will care?

3 A best-seller
The upmarket Unicorn range was very well equipped. This Cadiz, with twin single beds and a rear washroom, rapidly became a best-seller in the line-up. Priced at £12,495, this tourer was in good order. Although it is looking a bit dated on the outside, overall, the Cadiz will prove a very good buy.

4 Pop-top style
The Eriba has a keen fanbase, so prices hold firm, while its solid build means many last for years. Easy to store and tow, this pop-top is compact, yet it sleeps three and comes with a good spec. For £10,995, you’d be getting a tourer that’s in great nick and ideal as a starter van for a small family.
