A caravan layout with a lounge at either end and no fixed bed was a very regular thing until about a decade ago.

Although it has died off since, as more and more people opted for a fixed bed, you can see it present in a few models.

It does have its advantages, particularly in rainy Britain. There’s enough room for all of you to spread out, without the adults and children treading on each other’s toes, if the weather means staying in is the only option.
