The truth is out there… UFO hotspots

-

Fans of science fiction (or could it be fact?) will love this list of top UK places to stay and spot alien spaceships, collated by the team at Netvouchercodes.co.uk to mark World UFO Day in July.

1

South of England (38 spots)

London is home to the most reports of suspicious activity in the sky. In the past year, over 20 sightings have come in from the city. Onlookers described a selection of V-shaped objects spotted in the airspace over Christmas, silent red lights in the sky at 7pm one March evening this year, and recently, pulsating orbs.

2

North-east of England (21 spots) Bright red UFOS were sighted in Washington last November, with more recent reports describing erratic moving lights in Hull at 9pm one evening last March. A month earlier, a large, silent craft was reported in the countryside in North Yorkshire, at just after 11pm.

3

Scotland (19 spots)

Central Scotland saw the most sightings, with several reports in Airdrie, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Actual aliens were apparently spotted in Bishopbriggs in February 2021, at 3am.

4

North-west of England (19 spots) In Great Boughton, one tea-time after a year in lockdown, two “tic tac mint shaped” objects were spotted. More recent reports include a spherical, highly reflective, stationary object in the skies of Buckshaw at 8pm on 6 June.

5

South-east of England (17 spots) In Bognor Regis, over 50 travelling lights were sighted one evening in May, while in Monk’s Gate, a “long thing” was seen just before noon last February.

6

North of England (11 spots)

A “Y-shaped, colourful” object was spied in the sky in Carcroft just after 1pm in February. One Bingley dweller saw five circular objects in the sky and a Leeds resident saw a black triangle-shaped object overhead at 10.15pm.

7

South-west of England (11 spots) In Ferndown, a massive UFO was spotted around a year ago, one evening just after 10pm. In April of this year, at around 9pm, bright lights were spotted at a high altitude in Keynsham.

8

Elsewhere in England

The West Midlands had 13 reports of unusual activities in the sky. In May, a glowing, spinning disc was spotted in Telford. Sightings from Stoke-on-trent include a plume of black smoke and 20 or more star-like objects moving single-file in a straight line.

The East Midlands saw nine sightings, with a bright white, oval-shaped light seen at 5am one morning in April.

The east of England had seven spots, with 10 bright white orbs seen in Essex in April. Only five reports came in about sky sightings in the Midlands.

Elsewhere in the UK

Wales has seen six spots over the past year, including a tic tac shaped sky floater in Tenby. Residents of Northern Ireland reported three sightings, including some beautiful lights seen in Belfast.
