The UK’S biggest festival of its kind ( 1), Edinburgh Science provides around 270 events designed to interest children and adults in the subject. In 2022, the festival will focus on the exploration of lifeforms, lifecycles and revolutionary science.

Tissot UCI Track Nations Cup 21-24 April 2022
Glasgow’s Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome will bring together the very best international riders for this great series of races (2). This year’s event is particularly exciting for fans, as the city prepares to host the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships.

The Great Heilan Coo Trail April-august 2022
That’s ‘cows’ to the rest of us! There’ll be plenty of them to track down, grazing in every town with a Highland Hospice shop, on a brilliant art trail created by sculptor Scott Gleed and local artists.

Lambathon
April-may 2022
Across Scotland, a number of farms will be delivering daily tours showcasing the lambing season. As well as the chance to see lambs make their first appearance in the world, visitors also get to meet the faces behind each farm, learning more about day-to-day farming activities.
