The end is in sight for our Austin estate but vital bits are needed
It’s taken almost four years of hard graft but now the Practical Classics/anglia Car Auctions project Austin Westminster auto estate is running, driving and entering the final phase of its restoration. We now need to complete the car and get it ready to raise money for the Lennox Children’s Hospice at a special ACA sale (date TBC). To allow Andy Waters and the team at CBR Motor-bodies to get it finished we need a full set of side trims, a full set of grille surround trims, window aperture inserts, jacking point covers, a carpet set (any trimmers want to help?), headlining (ditto), rear lights, auto gearbox selecting rods, heater control cables and door handles and mechanisms. We also require a chrome-plating company to step up to do the bumpers, bonnet and grille trim.
Any help will be celebrated in print and you will receive a special VIP invite to the auction. If there is anyone out there who wants to help raise some cash for some very sick kids, please give us a call or email danny. hopkins@practicalclassics.co.uk
