Michael Ward from Wisbech has had this 1948 RMA since 1989. He restored it himself, ‘apart from the paint’ and has enjoyed it ever since. ‘I’ll never part with it,’ he says with a twinkle in his eye. ‘I love driving it. There’s a sense of freedom wafting around the lanes in it.’ Michael’s car is a Coventry-built Riley with some lovely period features and a couple of sensitive modifications.
