Offered at half the price of a higher-mileage Vitesse in the next ad, this looked cheap with its new clutch and recon gearbox.

1970 SEAT 600 E Price: £4750

Shipped from Spain in 2014, so unlikely to have the rot that dogs these. Less than 50,000 miles and only for sale due to ill health.

1953 MG YB Price: £3500

With prices for Y-types on the rise you could maybe smell a profit in this resprayed but unfinished project. It’s a runner but it has no brakes – an easy enough fix, though.
