Britain’s Best Classic Destination route to be unveiled at PC Restoration Show in March

- 30. Warwick Castle

The route of an epic road trip – to discover the most exciting place in Britain to take a classic car – will be revealed at the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show with Discovery (March 23-25).

Voting is now open and enthusiasts are being asked to vote from a shortlist of 30 destinations, as suggested by

PC readers (see below). The top ten locations will then form the route of the next PC road trip with Footman James.

The list of 30 destinations ranges from the Ace Cafe in London to Warwick Castle, with dozens of other extraordinary places across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. ‘We’ve had suggestions for Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, to the dramatic mountain passes of Cumbria and Snowdonia’ says PC Editor Danny Hopkins. ‘There have also been submissions for many museums and historic sites. Pretty much anywhere with space to put your classic car and experience something memorable – and to take a great photo!’

Once the shortlist has been whittled down to ten, the final route will be announced at the

PC CC&RS, where enthusiasts will be encouraged to choose one or more of their favoured locations. The Practical Classics team will drive the entire route in their classics and await the final vote to find out where they’ll be going.
