‘My MG cost me next to nothing and I love it’

I’ve had my MG TF for nine months now. It’s a bit primitive but I really enjoy driving it.

It cost me next to nothing and I love it. It is one of two I have, and they are both ace.

I do all the mechanical work on the car myself, and on this one I have rebuilt the front end by fitting a new front subframe, new steering rack and new brakes. That means the front end is good – but unfortunately the back end is a bit of a horror story and I am debating what to do about it. I have a powder-coated rear subframe ready to bolt on – I just need to be brave enough to do it!

Ian's TF is in great nick – at the front!
