The Austin Counties Car Club

Caring for Birmingham-born classics

-

Founded in 1975, the Austin Counties Car Club caters for the Austin range of cars and commercial vehicles produced at Longbridge, Birmingham from 1945 to 1954. This includes Austin 8,10,12,16s, Devons, Hampshires, Herefords, Atlantics, A40 Sports and the Somerset and Austin A40 Light Commercials.

The club is run by enthusiasts and is open to all with an interest in these vehicles, whether you own a ‘Counties’ vehicle or not. It holds an annual rally at different locations each year, plus monthly area meets, as well as producing awardwinning stands at NEC classic car events twice a year.

New & used spares

The club offers an extensive range of both new remanufactured parts and secondhand parts for Counties Austins. The dedicated spares service is continually looking into the remanufacturing of obsolete parts, as well as service items to keep Austins on the road. The club holds a vast stock of new and used spares that are available on a mail order basis.

The Austin Counties panel range

A panel replacement and refurbishment service is offered for vehicles including Austin 8, 10, 12, 16, Devon, Somerset, Hampshire, Hereford, Atlantic. A40 Sports and A40 Light Commercials.

The club is dedicated to aiding vehicle restorations and generally helping owners keep their Austins active. It is one of the few enthusiast clubs that holds such an extensive range of new, used and remanufactured parts. We are a thriving friendly club that is committed to live up to the original Austin slogan: ‘You can depend on it!’
