Britain’s Best Classic Car Club
Footman James and PC join in the hunt for the top local club
Classic car clubs are at the heart of what we do. They bring together enthusiasts locally and nationally and are so often the first port of call for people getting involved in the movement. So we want to celebrate the grass roots – the local clubs and branches that turn the passion into action. National clubs are celebrated, but local groups never normally get a shout: it’s time we changed that.
Over the next six-months Practical Classics Magazine and Classic insurers Footman James will be scouring the nation for the best local clubs and branches, but we need your help. First we need you to nominate your favourite. When nominating, add a sentence telling us why your local club choice should be considered as Britain’s Best.
Our panel will sift through your nominations to select the top 30. The criteria will be: friendliness, activity, accessibility and charity work. This competition is open to local clubs or club area branches.
Once we’ve selected a shortlist of 30 we will list them in PC, then it is time for you to vote for the top ten. Once you’ve voted we’ll spend two weeks in June driving around the country visiting each club in turn… at the end of the run, we will announce the winner.
We’d love to meet you on our run!
