Sur­rey nod for Mike Hawthorn

More than 100 pre-1959 clas­sics filled the streets of Farn­ham, Sur­rey, to cel­e­brate the 60th an­niver­sary of lo­cal hero Mike Hawthorn be­com­ing the first British rac­ing driver to win the World Cham­pi­onship. Some 4000 peo­ple watched cars such as Hawthorn’s 1955 Le Mans-win­ning D-type Jaguar and Ri­ley Ul­ster Imp.
