Sweet SA on the Apache

Having grown up in South Africa, I was interested to read the Out of Africa feature on the restoration of the Austin Apache by Ian Creese (PC, Sept 2018).

I have a collection of South African CAR magazines from 1957 to 1978, and the Apache features a number of times.

There were four models: manual, automatic, TC and Apache 35 special.

If anyone would like scans of the original road tests I would be happy to send these via Practical Classics.
