New CL flagship model is final hurrah

2003

The CL500 is now fitted with a sevenspeed automatic gearbox. The new transmission replaces the previous fivespeed unit.

2004

A new range topper arrives in the form of the 603bhp CL65 AMG. The new model features a twin-turbo 5980cc V12, but at £145k few RHD cars are sold.
