Reading-based Michael Longley has worked on Mercedes-benzes since he was 18 in 1998. He comments: ‘I worked for 12 years at a main dealer then set up mobile Mercedes specialist Mercanix focusing on cars built from 1996. We’ll go anywhere but tend to stay in the home counties; most work is maintenance and relatively small repairs, but can do much bigger items depending on the space and facilities at the client’s premises.’
