THE CL MARKET

-

The club’s CL Register Captain Clive Henderson says: ‘The entry-level CL500 starts at £2000, but you’ll probably spend at least £5000 making it reliable. Best budget at least £6000 for something reasonable. The best CL500S go for £12,000. The CL55 AMG is priced a bit more; naturally aspirated cars go for £7000£15,000 while supercharged models are more like £9000£18,000. The CL600 is somewhere in between; decent cars start at £8000 with the best examples at £15,000. There are a few lowmileage CLS but facelifted ones are rare. Values are dependent on condition rather than specification, year or even mileage.’
