QDo I oil or grease the points cam of my Austin 1100’s distributor?

AA light smear of grease is best, as there’s no oiling felt provided in the distributor. Put a dab of oil on the points post – plus a few drops on the screw underneath the rotor arm, which will work its way down to the bob-weights of the mechanical advance mechanism beneath.
