Superb handling
The 93’s modest image, low price and its manufacturer’s limited experience of car production made its fine handling all the more astonishing. Motor Sport magazine observed that there was no better-handling frontwheel drive family car. Weight distribution is around 50:50 and a clever rear axle prevents lifting of the inside wheel on cornering. Gentle understeer is maintained right up to maximum speed and lifting off the throttle will reliably and predictably tighten a turn.
