6 Mount on engine stand

It’s perfectly possible to build the engine on a bench or trolley, but it’s so much easier to use an engine stand (from £40). Attach the adaptor to the rear of the block using ⅜in UNF bolts of the appropriate length. Get someone to help you lift it.
