12 Fit piston rings

Ensure the pistons and rings are clean. Hold the rod lightly in the vice to clamp the piston. Fit each ring correctly and arrange the gaps at about 120° to each other. Start with the lowermost ring and use some oil between your fingers to lubricate it.
