7 Handbrake

-

Clean and lubricate the pivot points and mechanism. Make sure all parts move freely. The handbrake is operated by small shoes inside the rear discs. Remove the disc, clean the with brake cleaner and inspect. If all’s OK, refit the disc and tighten the adjuster one tooth at a time with a large screwdriver until the disc just locks, then back it off three clicks.
