MX-5 madness at special event

3000 cars due at MX-5 30 bash

-

To mark the 30th Anniversary of the MX-5 and 25th Anniversary of the MX-5 Owners Club, this year, the club’s Annual Rally is on course to attract around 3000 MX-5S. This will make it the biggest MX-5 anniversary anywhere in the world, and certainly the largest the Club has ever staged. Best bring your walking shoes to the British Motor Museum on Sunday September 15.

From Stunt Shows to Show and Shine, tech workshops, live music, leading MX-5 specialists, club area stands, circuit driving challenges and even a limbo competition,

there will be plenty for any avid MX-5, Eunos Roadster or Miata lover to enjoy.

The club is welcoming the designer of the original MX-5, Tom Matano, to the event. Visitors will be able to meet Tom and a few lucky owners will have the chance to get their car autographed by the man himself.

Tom will be joined by VIP guests Vicki Butler-henderson and Channel 5’s Jon Bentley, who will assist with competition judging, technical demonstrations and maybe a bit of driving.

The event is open to all MX-5 fans, and tickets are available in advance and on the day, priced at the museum’s regular price of £16 per adult. MX-5 Owners Club members get free entry to the event, along with a guest. This makes joining the Club this year incredible value at just £35 per year (in addtition to a one-time admin fee £4.50). If you have an MX-5 in your life or are looking for one – this truly is the event not to be missed!

Detailed event information can be found online at mx530.co.uk or mx5oc.co.uk.
