Classic roads lead to Gaydon in 2020

-

We celebrate Gaydon as a great venue, plus the usual club news and events to attend this weekend.

If you’ve yet to make it to the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, ensure that 2020 is the year that you do it. And even if you’ve been before, ensure you get there more than once this year, as there’s just so much going on. As well as housing the world’s biggest collection of British classics, the British Motor Museum has a raft of cars on display, including prototypes and oddities that you probably didn’t even know existed.

If you’re struggling to keep the kids or grandkids entertained this half term, there’s an array of things happening each day between February 15 and March 1. If your little ones are aged under five, the Mini Motorists days that will take place each Monday throughout March will keep them amused.

Throughout the year there are also various workshops happening that give insights into classic car ownership, as well as how to take professional pictures of your car(s). All of the info is at britishmotormuseum.co.uk, where you’ll also find details of the myriad events going on throughout the year. Highlights include the Land Rover Show on May 9-10, the Metro and Mini Show on June 21 and the Ford Nationals a week later. We’re also eyeing up the BMC & Leyland Show on July 12, the Old Ford Rally on July 19 and the MGF Register 25th Anniversary day on July 25 – they all look like cracking days out to us.
