Plans continue apace for the 2021 Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration show, with Discovery, at the NEC. With the new dates confirmed last month, the show will go ahead at the Birmingham venue from June 11-13, with many exciting new show features in the planning.

The Practical Classics Classic World will finally get its debut, bringing together all the elements of owning a classic vehicle and allowing the audience to take a journey of discovery across four key areas – Work in Progress,

Staff Car Sagas, Barn Finds Revisited, and the Classic World Stage. Event Director Lee Masters explains: ‘We are all very excited about what this new feature brings to the show. We’ve always championed live working to educate as well as entertain the visitors, but this takes it to a whole new level.’

Visitors to the show will also have the chance to meet the PC team and their projects, with plans afoot for editor Danny’s Morris Marina to be reassembled live at the show to celebrate the model’s 50th birthday.

Our two charity projects should also be on display. The Lancaster Insurance VW T2 Camper van, which will eventually be sold to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK, is progressing well, while attention has turned to the body of our Reliant Rebel, which will be raising money for NHS charities.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2021 show, and any tickets that were purchased for the 2020 show will automatically be carried over to the same day for this year. necrestoration
