Salt really is the enemy, and removing it as quickly as possible from your classic is essential to prevent rust developing. It is often not enough to use water alone to remove road salt, so we recommend the use of a product such as our Chlor-x salt remover that is designed to get behind stubborn dry crystallised salt and lift it from the steel.
