Reliant Scimitar & Sabre OC
Serving owners of Tamworth-born sports cars for more than five decades
As with all clubs, 2020 was a non-starter due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Reliant Scimitar & Sabre Owners Club (RSSOC) will hopefully be having a full calendar of events for 2021. Right now, it is planning its International Weekend in June and will be visiting the Peak District for the first time.
In August it holds its annual motorsport weekend at Curborough Sprint Circuit, near Lichfield with the sprint meeting featuring the Reliant Scimitar and many other British classics, with the Ferrari OC also invited along to join in the fun on the Sunday. With a concours event also taking place on the Sunday and much more during the weekend including an autojumble, this should be an event not to be missed.
Also, the RSSOC attends the NEC classic car shows during the year, showing the cars and assisting those interested in the marque. It holds monthly local meetings in most parts of the country, which is a great place to meet those who have a passion for the cars and can impart much knowledge, and will (hopefully) be out at local classic car events throughout the summer.
