Driven your classic in snow?

-

Winter of 1981. Alfa Berlina had LSD so was great in the snow. I had chains fitted on it for the worst of the snow which made the already crusty arches even worse when they came loose.

The rust was terminal, but I bought it a few months before with 12 months MOT (for £200), so it lasted until the following summer.

My Land Rover, not going anywhere… I can’t get fourwheel drive. Probably some dirt in the linkage, preventing it from moving correctly. But now is not the time to crawl underneath and investigate!

You won’t see my Nova SRI in the snow. All tucked up for winter!

My Triumph Stag was turfed out of the garage so that I could work on my Mini the previous day. The poor thing got covered!
