SPOTTING MY OLD P6

I can give a bit of history to the Rover P6B Estate pictured on page 45 of the March issue. I first saw this car at a Cornwall Rover Club rally at Trelisick Gardens in the midnineties. Then, in February 1995, I bought the car from its then owner, Joe Dalton of Redruth, who I think bought it new from HR Owen in London. I sold the car onto a local Cornish classic car dealer. I spotted it again at a Rover Sports Register rally at Knowle House in Sevenoaks on June 1, 1997, where I chatted to the new owner. VLK 493M is listed as taxed to 2021, so still thriving.
