‘I completely restored it and have driven it all over Europe’

1966 Triumph TR4A Steve Hughes, Haverfordwest

I have owned my TR since 1985 and has been on the road for almost 30 years, because it took me five years to rebuild it first. It was bought from Greens in Haverfordwest when it was new, but

I bought it from a guy in South Wales – so it’s come back to its home town. Over the years it has been all over Europe on many tours and holidays – it really has been used and I try my best to keep it in tip-top condition. It is Wedgewood Blue, the works colour, which I think suits it best.

It’s just a great car to drive, it’s distinctive and it’s beautiful – and it’s part of me. I don't think I'll ever be able to bring myself to sell it.
