PRACTICALLY CLASSIC
Emerging classic at bottom of its price curve
The Alfa Romeo GT is now 17 years-old and has to be a nailed-on classic, especially in V6 form. They are already starting to pop up in classic auctions, and now looks a good time to buy a good one. Risky stuff can be had for as little as £700, but better to pay £3k for a good four-pot. Those V6s already command a 50 per cent premium. Avoid the diesels both because they are trouble… and because diesel engines and Alfas simply don’t belong together.
